Here's your lineup for Friday.  Interesting move using Elder as the starter.

Jameson will be popping in, and I'll be doing PBP on Twitter with some posts here.  If you would like to keep things updated here, feel free to.

PS It's Jameson's birthday today.  Give him some love.  :)

Nolan Kingham will not start tonight's game due to a failure to adhere to the team academic attendance policy. Kingham will be available out of the bullpen.

Yes, 2 would be great.

Apparently this isn't the first 'uh oh' for Kingham.  Hope he gets the message from the staff.

Inability to get people out and not going to class = San Jac (yes I know he’s a junior but the point is still valid)

Gotta go to class, or in this case, study hall on a road trip, (as it was explained by Pierce in the pregame.)

Horns get a single from Hibbeler in T1, but can't do anything with it

OU gets a 2-out walk, then Murray grounds out to Hamilton to end the 1st frame

Scoreless headed T2

Ham gets a leadoff IF single, steals 2B, moved to 3B on a U3 from Reynolds

DJ Sac Fly plates Hamilton

Horns up 1-0 in T2

Ellis gets to 1B a 2-out E4 but that's where he stays as McKenzie U3 end the inning

Headed B2, Horns up 1-0

ou loads the bases with nobody out.

5-2 gets the 1st out, and a 6-4-3 DP ends the frame

Horns up 1-0 thru 2 complete

Horns go down 1-2-3 in T3

Texas leads ou 1-0 headed B3

OU gets a leadoff walk, and he comes home on a 2-run, 1 out pop fly turned homer

Thru 3 complete, Horns trail OU, 2-1

Ham gets a 1-out single but the OU SS makes a very nice ranging play away from 2B on a grounder from Reynolds to turn a 6-4-3 DP to end it

Headed B4, Horns trail 2-1

In B4, OU adds a run and strands one

Horns trail 3-1 thru 4 complete.  I don't expect to see Elder out there in B5

T5

DJ squares one up and drills it, it goes over the fence and the wind brings it back into play.  Ugh

McKenzie gets a 2 out single but that's it

Headed B5, Horns trail 3-1

OU adds a 2-out RBI single to extend their lead to 4-1

Headed to the 6th

T6

Kody pops a dinger over RF fence to close the gap to 4-2

Hamilton gets a 2-out rainmaker pop fly hit to short LCF, and the Sooners can't find the ball in the haze.  Ham charts a double off that.

Reynolds 6-3 ends the frame.

Headed B6, Horns trail 4-2
