I'm going to go ahead and get this started, and if @Jameson McCausland  wants to put in his preview here, bring it on!

Couple of notes.  Team arrived yesterday and took some time at Alex Box Stadium to get in a few cuts and some light practice.







It's currently 72 and there's a steady rain falling. 

The series schedule for this weekend is as follows:

FRIDAY 7 PM CST—LSU RHP Zack Hess (0-1, 30.86) vs. Texas RHP Nolan Kingham (1-0, 0.00)
SATURDAY 6:30 PM CST—LSU RHP Caleb Gilbert (0-0,10.38) vs. Texas RHP Chase Shugart (0-0, 0.00)
SUNDAY 2 PM CST—LSU RHP Todd Peterson (0-1, 6.75) vs. Texas RHP Blair Henley (0-0, 1.80)

All games will be streamed live on SECN+ via WatchESPN

Horns get a 2 out single from Clemens to RF and a free bag on a WP, but can't do anything with it.

LSU SP Zach Hess allows a 2 out single to Kody Clemens, but strikes out the side.

Following a great relay throw to throw out the LSU runner at the plate, a 1 out RBI single brings home the games first run. 1-0 Tigers.

Kingham gets a double play ground ball, but the feed is mishandled by Hibbeler and everybody is safe. 1st and 2nd for LSU with 1 out.

The next batter grounds a ball back to Kingham, who throws the ball to 3rd base, where no one is covering. The throw rolls all the way to LF and 2 runs score. 3-0 LSU.
