LMAO at these folks talking about the "elements."  It's been around 60 degrees with a northerly breeze.

Oh, and thoughts & prayers to you in hopes that you survive the fiasco of the pizza party. We've all been there.

Thanks for the well wishes Jeff, my Abigail only turns 7 once, but FIASCO is the only way to describe it.

Ok, just got caught up. I guess if we were or frowns from Sheepville we would count that as a win and be 1 and 0 on the 2016 campaign. The fact that the varsity was able to keep the alums hitless for a long time gives me great hope. Those guys have been swinging a bat now for about 2 months to get ready for spring trainingso it's not like they just rolled out of bed.

Thanks for joining in.  We'll be here all season-for free.

Saw some really good things today, albeit a bit early to make any definitive thoughts.  Pitching was good.  Saw some solid Alumni bats and limited them to 3 hits.  There are a couple of players that were missing for whatever reason, that will be contributors in the regular season.  Baker and Boswell immediately come to mind.  Cantu has a cannon, and it looks to have increased in velocity since last season.  Kody Clemens looks really comfortable for a frosh from the left side of the plate.

Anything you'd like to see done differently, let me know.  Hook Em!

The Alums only got hits from current UT roster players I believe.

FYI:

2016 Big 12 Baseball telecast schedule announced
Texas Baseball will be featured twice on FS1.

IRVING, Texas—The Big 12 Conference, along with the league's television partners, ESPN and FOX Sports, have announced the Conference's telecast schedule for the 2016 Big 12 baseball season.

Seven regular season games will be featured, while the Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship will be shown in its entirety. For the fourth straight year, all contests leading up to Sunday's championship game will be televised on FOX College Sports (FCS) with the finale set for 1 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Regional Networks (FSN). This year's event is slated for May 25-29 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.

FS1 will carry five regular season games—which are also available on FOX Sports GO—while ESPNU will carry a pair of contests.

Throughout the regular season, Texas will be featured on FS1 twice—first when Texas hosts TCU on Saturday, March 3 and again when Texas travels to Oklahoma on Friday, April 1.

The Longhorns regular season begins on Friday, February 19  at 6 p.m. against UNLV at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
