Second game in a row Hansen has not been sharp.

He has thrown a lot this year, and may be running out of juice.  Just a guess/observation.

Hate to say it but I suspect we are 2 and BBQ this year.   At least you can say we made it to Omaha.

Disappointing but at least we have the football season to look forward to oh wait.

At least Horns hold record for most trips to Omaha.

Downside, we lost to Notre Dame. Plus side, we get to eliminate Texas A&M on Sunday. A&M hasn't won a game since 1993 in Omaha. 

Solid outing from Stevens. He kept the score close and gave the offense a chance. He also saved all the bullpen arms. He threw 59 pitches himself so I doubt we see him Sunday. Could he be back for the Tuesday game (#3) if needed? Game 4 would be Wednesday so we could see either Hansen or Stevens start that game with a MLB typical 4 days of rest. Game 5 would be Thursday (I think, different brackets say differently) and either guy could certainly be used at that time.
