Yeah, I saw a post the other day where somebody was talking about Seward's Folly and thought the same thing. You know, because it's super important to take offense wherever you can.

The only offensive part of what you posted was an assumption about my thoughts. I didn't take offense. It was a suggestion before the board gets cluttered with politics.

Actually it is quite an accurate analogy. Two things promised to be solutions for all that have been absolute disasters that get worse and worse. And here we sit, stupid to have believed any of it after the fact, duped by our leaders, but can't do much about it now other than bend over and continue to be lied to.
