I think it's pretty much official now but now we have to wait for the official UT release and presser. Though I am happy lets try to keep it civil here. Mack up until the past 4 years did some wonderful things for UT. I am older then most of you I remember sitting in DKR with only 40k there. So yes it was time for change but Mack also brought us some GREAT memories the past 16 years..

I just started a thread thanking Mack in the same way you are. It's time to look back at what Mack was able to accomplish here. He was without a doubt the perfect coach who came in at the perfect time. Was he perfect on the field? No, but what coach is?

Jim, one of these days I want to get to Austin and sit down with you and Slim and hear stories from the two of you for hours. I think I could learn more about UT history listening to you guys than I could reading books. And I bet it would be a hell of a lot more entertaining!
