Met him at a sports collectible show in Chicago. Asked for his autograph, he obliged on a spiral pad, and then asked for $20! He was kidding, but had this then 13 yr old fooled!

Nice guy, I am a pirates fan so it was cool to meet him and get his signature. Also met Franco Harris in the auditorium, he signed a Steelers pennant for no charge, almost broke my hand with his handshake! Got a Bob Feller autograph for $4 after buying a $5 artist rendition 8x10 from Feller. Great guy, sitting by himself at a card table only looking to interact with fans and cover his costs. Surprisingly not too many folks were around his table. But enough about me.....
