Notre Dame received ownership stake in Under Armour if I recall correctly. It wold be interesting to know if Texas will get the same with Nike. I'll also be interesting to find out if Texas will be a part of the Jordan brand. Michigan will be part of the Jordan brand in both Football and Basketball.
So the Jordan brand is embedded within Nike? I mistakenly thought MJ had taken his brand independent of Nike. Didn't know about the ND ownership stake, interesting. How does ND stack up in apparel sales vs other schools to make this a good move by UA? Small alumni base, but I guess a lot of non-alumni fans in the buying population.
Interesting. I find it hard to believe that they'd cancel their Under Armour deal if they weren't rolling with Nike. There is no way in hell Adidas can afford to hang with Nike/Under Armour.
