Sounds like Nigel Bethel, one of Tehc's top recruits in 2014, may not ever see a down in a Tech uniform.

Go back and look at Bethel's offer sheet.  He chose Tech over Miami, Florida State, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Tennessee and a lot of other programs.  Not certain of the details but an action like this will ruin a promising career.  Let's hope the female Tech basketball player is ok emotionally and physically...

Anybody else find it more than a little odd that a kid from Florida with offers from a lot of better schools closer to him would pick Tech? They aren't exactly known as a defensive based team that puts a lot of kids in the league.

Pretty big loss. Arguably Tech's top recruit and expected contributor in the secondary this year.

Good for Tech for letting him go. Nigel is a complete Bast***

What on earth would compel a young man to punch out a female?  Thuggish behavior.

Good for KK acting swiftly.

Id heard the lady is going to need surgery. I hope they put him under the jail.

The female he hit was a star basketball player, and quite possibly bigger than Bethel. He hit her in the face and broke a bone, which will require surgery. Not sure, but it may have been a pickup basketball game.

Tech is right to boot him.
