Supposedly someone is on a plane with a kid resembling Nick Harvey who happens to be wearing an Army All American jacket. OB got tipped off from someone over at TexGags. Interesting to see if/when anything comes from this, but it could be the reason why the Tech kid hasnt been offered yet.

If Harvey in fact didn't tell A&M about his visit after they pretty much told him not to visit Texas, those bridges might very well be burned. If the visit goes well with Harvey, I think we might even be the favorite now. It's sounding like A&M had no idea this visit was happening. If there wasn't anything to the visit, there would be no reason for Harvey to conceal from A&M.

Harvey is apparently close with Freeman. I wonder if Freeman committing to Texas has/had any type of impact?

Billy Luicci of Texags is saying that the Texas A&M staff had no clue that Harvey was visiting Texas.

To play Devil's Advocate, that would be my pitch at Texas A&M.
"Listen, we were not that good on defense. But if you come to Texas A&M, you'll get immediate playing time to get our defense amongst the SEC elite."
He may or may not buy into that but that would be my spin.

It is my assumption that Luicci has no clue WHAT the A&M staff knew about Harvey.
As an aside - Harvey may just be in Austin to spend the weekend with his buds and has nothing to do with recruiting.
