Draft kicks off in less than an hour. Who are you wanting your team to draft tonight? I'm expecting some wheeling and dealing to get done with people angling for the top few quarterbacks. Should be fun.

I think Patrick Mahomes will be the best player in  the draft. It looks like Andy Reid agrees.

Mitch Trubisky was the most impressive to most teams, however he only started 13 games. An article I read said the Tar Heels WR's thought he should start before his senior season. It looks like Larry Fedora made some bad decisions. Bohls said that if Herman had gone to LSU then Fedora was the backup plan.

I heard and read that the quarterback all the teams were talking about at the scouting combine was Sam Darnold from USC. Oh boy we get to play him this year.

Hopefully Watson becomes this years Prescott. Seems like Cleveland owns Houstons picks next year.

Thought the Bears giving up so much to come up for Trubisky was the blunder of the night. I'm really baffled by that move.

Chiefs got super aggressive to go get Mahomes at 10. Thought he would have gone in the teens if someone was coming up to get him. Also thought Watson would go before him.

Speaking of Watson. I couldn't be happier with Houston getting him for what they did. Most polished QB in this draft for my money and he's a proven winner. Turn the Alabama tape on and watch him terrorize the best defense in college football TWICE.

Only one Big 12 player taken in Round 1 today. Tied with the MAC.

By contrast, the SEC has 12 picks in Round 1, Big10 had 7, Pac 12 had 6, ACC had 4.

As a Niners fan.... I think they arguably got won the first round.

I'm not a Garrett fan because never really dominated unless they were a non power 5. Plus... Cleveland will find a way to screw up.

Fleeced Chicago for more picks and got arguably two top 10 talents. Yeah definitely winners for sure in my book for the first round.

Seems like a good pick up. I was hoping for a corner but we should get a corner and safety now. Hopefully we get Swoopes as an UFA.

All the hoopla about the Big 12.... I don't care for. What I like is all these kids drafted from TX. We have elite elite elite talent. Win some games and we will see them start coming to UT.

Also I think Foreman gets drafted today. Keep an eye on the PAts.

as a lifelong Bears fan, it didn't surprise me at all.  they have and had no idea what they are doing.  glennon?  come on man.

Glennon was a good signing. His contract is set up so they can get out of it after one year. He should be a bridge QB. The big question is if they drafted the right QB.

Next Connor Williams Top 10 pick, Malik could be a first rounder if he has a good year. We all know he will dominate the combine.

Pats are crowded at RB right now. Didn't re-sign Blount, but they extended James White, signed Gillislee from Buffalo and Rex Burkhead, and they have Dion Lewis.
