Full press release can be found here, but Slater's duties will include reporting for LHN games and Texas GameDay.  She will also host Longhorn Extra, and work on feature stories for various LHN programming.

Slater co-hosted a radio show in the DFW area on 105.3 the fan for a period of time. I listened to it a few times a week and it was always refreshing to hear her take on things. She's got a great sports mind that I hope they'll tap into, rather than simply using her as a pretty face alum who asks questions.
