New Coach

Boys this is killing me first it's several months of recruiting and now it's looking for a new defensive line coach both tend to eat on me equally.  It 's terribly  for us old farts to go through this right after NSD.     I trust CS to make the correct hire. Well my friend but at my age there isn't much left to worry about that is all behind me. I am living a comfortable life. My kids are all healthy God has really blessed me. My friends y'all have a blessed week.

Solid advice Duke.  Regarding a new coach at DL, I really cannot recall this much fan emphasis being put on a position coach.  Same with the TE coaching search.  It's not like these guys are coordinator-level.  It's not just Jim that's expressed concern and worry, it's many across several boards.  Am I missing something here?

I will be quite happy with whoever Charlie Strong picks, so I am not worried at all about it.

I know Strong is taking his time to get the right guy and he is not one to leak ANY info, but this is killing me man. Rumph really put us in a bind.

My friends I never said I was worried even said I trust  CS to make the right decision. I simply ment to say that recruiting is exciting and it keeps me setting on the edge of the coach. Hiring a new DLC is just as exciting and it is going to be a big hire anytime the Texas Longhorns come calling.
