***National Signing Day Thread***

Adams has spent his entire life on the west coast and spent his four years of college in the PNW - I don't think he was leaving.  Especially when you consider that Oregon offense is tailor made for his skill-set - and they just played in the title game.  Vernon Adams is walking in there thinking he's going to take them to (and win) a championship in his one season.

oh exactly we didnt pursue him as hard as we wanted to get him..and yes with more purpose to get him we wouldve had a chance..
Based on what?  See my post - what exactly were we offering that Oregon couldn't (and didn't have more of)?

I have no idea how hard or how early Texas was in on Adams.  But I don't think they just stumbled onto him in the last couple of days.  I expect they reached out but were only recently reciprocated in interest.

dont be reading too much into what i typed there ...i was meaning that in a sarcastic way..oregon will be a perfect fit for Adams

I'll be rooting for Vernon at Oregon. Very rare that a player comes across in football that you want to root for regardless of affiliation. He's just got that all-star potential. So he'll be added to my list, alongside Brossette at LSU.

Good to see Kai's getting a head start! I'd love to get my hands on Coach Watson's playbook and HUDL online tutorials. It'd be fun to watch games with an idea on how our plays are supposed to be run.

Earlier comment amended: world's second greatest thread still alive and kicking! I hope we can get some news on some QB grad transfer folks in the near future. I believe I read that after the semester ends more JUCO and grad transfer candidates will emerge?

We'll likely have a better idea on what grad transfers will be available after teams go through Spring Practice and depths charts are preliminarily established.
