Okay - so our class is in - what do ya'll think?
Incredibly happy with it. The fact that we were even discussing the possibility of getting Murray, Lodge and Mack in the final weeks is a sign of how well our Coaching Staff communicated with the recruits this year. This class is the foundation class. Can you imagine what 2016 is going to look like? Especially now that they have some very solid upper classmen to work with. Aggie can be excited about Murray and Mack but today was the day that things shifted back into their natural order. Texas is back.

I can live with Mack to aggie. Than TCU.

And Lodge to Ole Miss than A&M.

I could say more, but would sound 'aggie.'

After all the, uh, playing/trolling, whatever you call it from Mack, part of me is glad he won't be coming and possibly causing distractions on the team. But, I really did want him.

Other than that, I absolutely LOVE this class and this staff. Great job!!!

Aggie's excitement will last till June 8th when Murray is drafted in the first round and decides to play MLB then the tears will flow.

Given wudda coudda shouda... could not be happier. There were tradeoffs.

This is a class after 6-7, with Baylor and TCU tied for BigXII and one step from the Final Four.

And A&M in the S-E-See.

And still the staff took 9 flips originally committed elsewhere.

Is a Top 10 class, and frankly I would not trade the talent, man-for-man, for any other groups.

Other recruiting classes may tally up better in ranking numbers, but there's some salt in this group, and all dogs!

They are humble and willing, are coachable, and leaders through and through.

Those not already, will be molded by the others.

I tend to agree on the Mack front; watching it all play out over the last several weeks I was left with a question of whether or not he's the type of guy who could succeed and excel under CFS. His talent is undeniable though. For the record, I'm left with the same question on Boyd. On the other hand, maybe he truly just wanted to troll those dog a**es over in college station up until the last minute...and that's the type of behavior I can support assuming he comes in, puts his head down and goes to work.

Overall, it's an exciting time for the Longhorn faithful!

for strongs first year in texas to pull out  a monster class thats AWESOME

i'm happy about the class.  with all the drama that went through the last week, i'm glad we have who we have and the others went down the road.
