I'm involved in updating the UT Austin wiki page sections of establishment and expansion ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Texas_at_Austin ). Yesterday I learned the first person elected as president of the cow college was none other than Jefferson Davis. The bizarre that is aggy started from day 1.
