Iowa State lost its starting OT in Jake Gannon, quit the team because he was "burnt out". It's going to be a brutal year for Iowa State, already lost their best WR earlier in the week.

Kansas backup cornerback, Kevin Short, has left the team for personal reasons.

Not Big 12 related but UCLA lost a RB for the year in Steven Manfro to a torn ACL. They use a 3 RB system. Based off what I've read Manfro didn't get a lot of touches but was their best blocking back.

Baylor WR, Levi Norwood, is also out at least 3 weeks after having wrist surgery. Baylor has taken quite a hit with injuries so far this year. I think that's like 4 WRs that are injured now.

Interesting stuff. On another note, what in the wide wide world of sports are you dong up at 3:50 AM?

[Chris Flanagan]

Yeah Iowa State is going to be bad this year.

I don't sleep.

It's easy to be consumed by injuries to the Horns, but you're right, there are several other teams that are struggling also. I'd be nervous about Petty's back if I was a Baylor fan.
