Charlie Strong's weekly presser begins at 11:00 a.m. CT on LHN. I have a question for you all. Would you prefer keeping up with what's happening (if you can't watch) on Twitter, or would you rather me give live updates in a thread on the website? I want whatever is more convenient for everyone. I know plenty people don't have Twitter, so just throwing a new idea out there. Give me some feedback if you'd like. Thanks!

Okay. I'm going to try a live thread in this forum today and see how y'all like it. Charlie is at the podium now.

Strong on Jefferson: "Malik is a special player. He and coach BJ sat down and he is able to take criticism. The last 2 games he's really come on for us. He looks like the guy he was supposed to be now."

Need to win out, and that's no easy task with WVU and TCU still on the schedule

Strong on defensive success: "We have really good coaches. It's not me at all. It's all about being aggressive, which we are right now."

Strong on WVU: "We are at home. There is going to be a lot of energy. We expect to play well at home. Our players know how well they need to play in order to win the football game."

Strong on use of 18-wheeler: "I have confidence in Sterlin. We will continue to run that package. We've had success with it."

Strong on Joe Wickline: "Joe's an outstanding coach, we go way back as graduate assistants. The lawsuit was more of a distraction for him than me. He's done a great job on [WVU's] offensive line."

When asked about the 18-wheeler decision again, Strong again says that the package with Swoopes has been successful.

Strong: "[Our players] are beginning to develop. Vance has done a great job with the secondary. We simplified the coverages. We either are going to go get them or back away."

Strong: "D'onta is not a guy that is into the records. He did not know how many yards he had until I told him."

Strong: "We always try to find different ways to get the players locked in." Mentions making the team go to bed at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, and waking up earlier to go through walk-throughs on Saturday.

Strong on Buechele: "Sterlin has built the offense where everything is not put on him. We've been able to run the football, which takes a lot of pressure off of Shane."

Strong: "If you can't win up front, you have no chance. Right now we are winning up front."
