Great Post, Monarch!    I especially like numbers one and three!  Perhaps a bunch of us could get together and do some Japanese style shadow puppet theater to illustrate them.

Speaking of sausage...... I have never tried Earl Campbell brand.

Johnsonsville sucks royally.

The best I have found is V & V brand. You can get them at HEB. It is made in Cistern, Texas near Flatonia.

Grilled some up at my last tailgate and everyone loved them.

If your HEB doesn't carry them, you can have them order some by just asking.

They are the next best thing to Weimar sausage. If you haven't had Weimar sausage stop by Kaspar's if you travel through Weimar Texas ( off I10 about half way between Houston and San Antonio ).

Shipley's makes a Kolache fitted with a Spicy Big Earl.  Pretty nice.
