The threat ends as Todd gets caught looking. 1-1 as we head to the 4th.

After a 1 out single, Texas makes a call to the bullpen. Bryce Elder on to pitch.

Elder gets the first batter he faces to ground into a double play. Inning over.

Petrinsky leads off the bottom of the 4th with a single and advances on a wild throw.

A wild pitch and sac fly by Zach Zubia gives Texas a 2-1 lead.

Tate Shaw singles and Michael McCann reaches on an E4. Texas has runners with on the corners with 1 out.

Lamar’s first baseman has a ground ball go between his legs, and Tate Shaw scores because of it. Texas leads  3-1.

Elder starts the 5th with a strikeout. He has looked very good in a short sample size so far this season.

Elder hits back to back batters, and Lamar now has a runner in scoring position.

A flyout gets Elder out of the inning. Texas looking to add to their 3-1 lead in the bottom of the 5th.

Petrinsky hits one into the LF gap, scoring Todd. Zubia then lines a triple off of the CF wall. Texas starting to break this one open, lead 5-1.

Shaw’s ground ball to the pitcher is thrown away, scoring the run and allowing Shaw to advance all the way to 3rd. 

McCann then scores Shaw on a sac fly. 

Texas leads 7-1

Matteo Bocchi is on to make his Texas debut. Ryan Reynolds takes over at 1B and Petrinsky moves to catcher.

A solo homer by Robin Adames gets Lamar on the board again.

Hamilton leads off the bottom of the 6th with a single. Hamilton tries to advance to 3rd on a single by Hibbeler, but is thrown out. 1 away.

Bocchi allows a lead off walk, but a flyout and double play ends the half inning. 7-2 heading to the bottom of the 7th.
