Id care about hoops more with Shaka or Buzz. Barnes is a dick.

Any inside dirt on what's happening with Barnes? Why have we lost transfers to Miami and (good grief) Fresno State?

Yes I am.. This is Barnes last year. Buzz Williams or Shaka Smart are the leading candidates.

I like both, but I think Buzz and his ties to the state would give us a quicker turnaround. He would come in and kill it in recruiting and would definitely be a better coach than Barnes on the court. I like Smart's up tempo style and think he would be successful, but in my opinion he would need a little more time to get the team capable to play the way he wants to.

I agree. I think both coaches would do great here. Smart would be the more exciting hire right away, but I think you're right that Buzz might be better overall. Either way, both guys have done well down the stretch and in the tourney so we know we'll be getting good ones.
