Manziel and what all did A&M have to hide!

Alcohol and cocaine is a bad combination. Magic mushrooms can be helpful, but not when your coked and boozed up.

Johnny Manziel accused of trashing pad with ‘booze- and drug-filled’ ragers

Call it a case of affluenza. Rich-kid quarterback Johnny Manziel’s facing more questions about alcohol and drug use after he threw a wild party at a rented LA house, where he and his friends allegedly caused $32,000 in damage.

Manziel, who comes from a Texas oil family and whose NFL future is in peril, rented a house in West Hollywood for two days last week with a pal. The pair’s said to have thrown two all-night ragers that prompted neighbors, including comic Kathy Griffin, to call police.

It’s claimed Manziel and his group left the house strewn with booze and drugs, broke an expensive glass table and a bathroom door, and left wine stains and cigarette burns on carpets. Pictures obtained by Page Six show lines of suspicious white powder on a table, and an open bag of what is claimed to be magic mushrooms.

Former Browns QB Manziel — who last year went to rehab, but whose agent Drew Rosenhaus is dropping him in “hopes of helping him get the treatment I believe he needs†— has been served with a legal demand for nearly $32,000 for damage caused to the $4.5 million pad. It was rented to Manziel by real estate broker Nicholas Goodwin, whose company LA Exotic Life rents vacation properties.

Goodwin’s lawyer, Niki Ghazian, wrote Manziel’s reps: “Mr. Manziel threw large parties on both nights, causing extensive damage . . . Evidence suggests [Manziel] and his guests were consuming drugs and alcohol . . . and that they caused a disturbance to the neighborhood,†which led to the LAPD being called on April 6.

Goodwin tells Page Six he returned to the house to find it trashed and Manziel crashed on the sofa at 2 p.m. He said, “They were supposed to check out at noon. Manziel was passed out . . . There was cocaine all over the kitchen table, and mushrooms were still out on the table in front of him. There was booze everywhere . . . broken glasses over the floor and a Champagne glass in a tree.†He added, “If they don’t respond to our demand for compensation, we will sue.†Manziel, his lawyers, and Rosenhaus didn’t get back to us.

Original: Tuesday just isn't Johnny Manziel's day. First he learns a Dallas County grand jury is expected to hear his the domestic violence case Thursday, and now he's without an agent, according to a report.
Manziel, a former quarterback for Texas A&M and the Cleveland Browns, was given five days to seek help or be dropped by agent Drew Rosenhaus.
ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted that Rosenhaus has terminated his representation of Manziel after less than a month.

Rosenhaus is the second agent to drop Manziel this year. In February, Manziel’s first agent, Erik Burkhardt, said he severed his ties with the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner so Manziel could get help.
The QB responded to the USA Today in a statement about his agent dropping him:
"I'm hoping to take care of the issues in front of me right now so I can focus on what I have to do if I want to play in 2016. I also continue to be thankful to those who really know me and support me."

Manziel was spotted at Coachella partying in a ball pit over the weekend.
Controversial headlines continue to swirl around Manziel.
USA Today confirmed Wednesday that Manziel was a passenger in a hit-and-run accident that is under investigation by the Los Angeles police. According to USA Today, there were no injuries and no other vehicle was involved in the wreck that occurred on Sunset Boulevard on April 9.
Los Angeles Police spokesperson Officer Liliana Preciado told USA Today that Ryan Silverstein, a member of rapper Drake's posse, was the driver of the vehicle that struck a light pole. Preciado said Manziel wasn’t interviewed and the investigation was ongoing.
There have been reports that Manziel is living with former Cleveland Browns teammate Josh Gordon in Los Angeles, although Manziel had said earlier that he was living with former Texas A&M star Von Miller.
Last Monday, Miller said he is not living with Manziel, and ESPN reported that Manziel was living with Gordon in an apartment off Sunset Strip. But on Tuesday, the day the NFL rejected Gordon’s bid to get back into the league, a source told cleveland.com that Manziel is not living with the former All-Pro receiver.
What is known is that Manziel has been hitting the nightspots, though he claims he’s not drinking.
Interviewed recently by TMZ, Manziel said “I’m not really partying, though. I’m just out with some buddies. No drinking. Hanging with the boys. Staying on track. I’m out at the spots, I’m eating dinner, eating good food. Not doing anything crazy, though. Being smart. I’m not always partying. I’m just out having a good time with my boys, not drinking.â€
Manziel is still looking for a job after being released by Cleveland last month.
The Cowboys have said they have no interest in him.
He’s been rumored as a possibility in Denver, which lost Peyton Manning to retirement and Brock Osweiler to free agency.

The part that particularly bothered me for this young man was the '... If I want to play...' part of his quote.

This looks like it isn't going to end well. I look at this young guy and I see a guy who follows, not one that leads.

UT bias aside, I think people are going to look back and wish they would have tackled this irresponsible young man, caught in the cult of himself, and slapped some sense in him.

If the guy struck a woman, jail may be the best thing to ever happen to him. You don't do that and particularly in Texas.

I see everything he does now as his last cry: 'Somebody stop me. I can't stop myself'.
