Malik is on the 40

[Throthefade]

Biggest visit UT has had in a very long time in terms of what he could do for the program recruiting wise. He could turn things around big time.

Kid could be a pied piper if he chooses not to wait until EOY (as he's indicated).

[Throthefade]

I think he will be an December decision. He is doing it right and making sure he has all bases covered.

Even if he doesn't commit until December he will pull some guys.

He won't wait until the end of the year, IMO.  I have a feeling - just a feeling.

Doc, I truly hope your feeling is right!  And it's for the good guys.

[primal defense]

Depends on if he craves the attention, if so he can wait until signing day. Most teams will keep a scholarship open. If he's smart he will decide earlier so he can attract other top recruits to the team of his choice.

He commits to Texas and Charlie Strong wins big in 2 years. A guy like Jefferson means that much to Texas.

Agree totally.  BTW, lakeman, I find your avatar to be..."titillating".

Per Webster's Dictionary: titillate means "to excite pleasurably".

Indeed!

Just joking around, made a boob of myself.

Is the dude on the left Malik's dad?  Seriously, is that an assistant/graduate coach of some sort or a HS coach from Mesquite? Just curious, he might have some influence on helping this young man ascend to the 40 acres and wanted to be in the know on his identity.

I wondered about that too, the people in the photo.  I just hope Malik had a great time today and comes to UT.  We need a top guy

like him badly!

[Throthefade]

LOL everyone seems to wonder who that guy is... LOL

[utisdabomb12]

My guess is it's somebody affiliated with their church. From what I've read Malik and his family are pretty religious. I'm thinking it's like a youth pastor, but that's a total guess.
