The team played a very solid game and they gave Mack a great way to walk off the field. In what could be his last home game as the Texas caoch. My friends y'all have a great weekend.

I truly hope Mack is on the set with College Gameday next year, so we get to see him every Saturday talking football!

I'd rather see Mack on the set than either Corso or Howard

Mack looked downright calm and collected last night during the game. It was good to see.

What is really scary is if GR figures out a way to slow down Baylor's offense and Case channels someone else on Sat. If we beat Baylor, I can see Mack here another 2 years at least.

I don't think I can take that.

You need to be put in "Timeout" with that nonsense.

JimsTexas, great to see you as have missed you on Orangebloods for many months. This site is great and has all the good guys over here. Have a great weekend.

You ain't the only one that would find that unacceptable.

agreed, though I hope those who opposed the post did so because 1. the OP was more or less thanking Mack for good things (despite lot of junk the last few years) and/or 2. they expect he'll step down after this year, regardless, so that there's no need to state the negative.

1 there is not an opening for HC at this point

2 an occasional insider will say there is no plan for Mack to leave

3 90% of insiders are saying its a done deal, he will resign, either this week or next or perhaps after the bowl game

I am cautiously optimistic he will retire. The thought of him coming back is nauseating to me and it scares me to death after watching him coach these last few years.

I am glad he won....BUT I myself needs to see him resign by December 8th, 2013 and no later.
