Mack Brown Can Save his Legacy!

Big word for a 12 year old:cool:

I didn't realize that you were only 12 years old. I knew your IQ was close to that of the average 12 years old but I didn't have the time to think of a way to make it easier for you. It's a useful word to learn given your pedophilic inclinations. :D

Spurrier has transformed South Carolina (a small school with a small budget) from a sandbag filled with mediocre players into a skilled assassin in the SEC. Under Spurrier, SC not only can play with the powerhouses in the best conference, but beat them without any highly ranked recruits or well-known talents. If he has accomplished this while spending a lot of time on golf, it makes him look more of a feared genius and Mack Brown more of a pathetic loser. Yes?
"skilled assassin"?? Seriously? Spurrier hasn't won shit at USCe. Why are you all over his nut sack? He's a pretty good coach but definitely not worth the knob slobbering you're bestowing on him.

Nobody is all over Spurrier nut sack. As for your "Spurrier hasn't won XXXX ...", let's just say you are a clueless, raw newbie in football. You could use a few lessons from will_hookem. That's for sure.

What has he won at USCe?

I think every time he says spurrier he gets a free reacharound. The fact that we are still rambling on about this makes no sense.. Im gonna go hang out with my "moron" friends now that no nothing

I'm do with the guy, and we need to shut down this thread..

last word on the matter..

I'm just responding to questions. Does it bother you? ;)

I like Spurrier's passing offense. I'd love to have Saban here but the price tag would be too huge. Besides, Saban is already making big money at a great football school. Spurrier is in the same league as Saban, and can beat him with comparable players.

For Spurrier, Texas will be a step up from South Carolina. There is a strong incentive. I also like Spurrier's courage to slap bureaucrats when necessary - Texas has got a lot of them.

In short, Spurrier is among the best, if not the best, that is realistically available for a reasonable paycheck.

DeLOSSY the Ugly Brain Dead Dudd has made the biggest blunder in college football history by offering Mack Brown the Imposter over 5 millions a year just to get whipped by BYU and Ole Miss.

Time for an urgent change.

Get DeLOSSY the Ugly Brain Dead Dudd and Mack Brown the Imposter out of Austin, and I'll be happy.

I already answered that earlier.
I must've missed it.

I'll tell you what he's won at USCe though.

Nothing. Besides, he's too old to even be considered for the Texas job. 10 or so years ago, maybe. Not now.

South Carolina is ranked in the top 25, even though it's a small school in the toughest conference. Spurrier may be old, but he's hundreds of miles ahead of Mack Brown, who can't even beat BYU, Baylor, Old Missy, Iowa State, ....

You are a newbie and don't know how to evaluate the technical competence of coaches.

Whatever you think Einstein. Fact remains, your hand picked successor hasn't won shit at South Carolina. You keep tooting his horn amongst whatever else you're tooting and people will keep laughing at you. Carry on Junior.

LOL. You are like Beevomav, in that you both have lousy reading comprehension and analytic reasoning skills. Spurrier is not my "hand-picked successor", but who I consider to be a realistic option. Try to use your head more and harder. Football is a sport that requires a lot of brain work. Who is your choice? Mack Brown or Mack Brown II? LOL;)

Ultimately, the UT administration needs to "encourage" DeLoss to retire first. I don't believe he has the courage or desire to fire Mack, so it has to start there. Our new AD (maybe ND's Swarbrick?) can bring in his people.

I believe Mack's legacy is safe provided it doesn't include many more embarrassing losses to OU. I'd like to see him stay around as a color analyst for LHN and recruiting coordinator/ "head coach emeritus". He deserves it.

Hook 'Em

I agree with you on getting rid of Deloss first. I don't know what you mean by "color analyst" but it's really hard to see how Mack would qualify as an analyst for real in light of his failure to analyze his own blatantly obvious mistakes and inadequacies.

Below is Mack Brown's "legacy" against Oklahoma:

2000: OU 63 - Texas 14

2001: OU 14 - Texas 3

2002: OU 35 - Texas 24

2003: OU 65 - Texas 13

2004: OU 12 - Texas 0

2007: OU 28 - Texas 21

2010: OU 28 - Texas 20

2011: OU 55 - Texas 17

2012: OU 65 - Texas 21

Bob Stoops took over OU in 1999. In the slightly over 10 years since then, he has scored 9 victories over Mack Brown, of which 5 have been routs or shutout, despite the fact that Mack Brown has been touted as a superb recruiter and that Texas has some of the top rated players on its roster.

Brown can't possibly lose "many more" games to OU without being completely shutout in the duel with Stoops.

You don't think it's embarrassing to have Mack Brown around as an "analyst" or "coach emeritus"?
