All wins do not have equal weights. You know that unflattering saying about statistics. A win against 2012 Alabama is not the same as a win over 2012 New Mexico State, even though each counts as 1 win.
Similarly, all losses do not carry equal shame. A 7-point loss against Alabama in 2013 is not the same as a 19-point loss against BYU in 2013, even though each counts as 1 loss.

Mack Brown has been very lucky - the Big 12 Conf. hasn't been the same since the fall of Nebraska.
Nebraska hasn't won a conference championship in 15 years. In their last 9 years in the Big XII the highest they were ranked was 14th. They were unranked 5 times. Yea the Big XII has really fallen apart after they left? Your entire argument has no basis other than "because I said so." You can continue your spam, but it won't change the fact that you know little of which you talk about.

Before you rant further, a bit on basic reading comprehension: "since the FALL of Nebraska" refers to the end of the Osborne reign and the decline of the Nebraska football program, NOT Nebraska's departure from the Big 12 Conference.

You said ... the Big 12 Conf. hasn't been the same since the fall of Nebraska.
As for my reading comprehension, you never mentioned Osborne until you tried yet another feeble attempt to make a point..

Osborn last coached Nebraska in 1997 .. He only coached two of their fifteen years in the Big XII...I am curious, with my keen reading comprehension, what bullshit your will drag out this time. You seem to have an answer for everything. The problem is they're all wrong.

LOL. You seem to be getting more desperate with each post. The phrase " ... since the fall of Nebraska ..." should be immediately obvious to any knowledgeable and diligent football fan in the Big 12. Besides, we are talking about basic English here. "The fall of the British Empire" refers to the decline of the British Empire; "the fall of Detroit" refers to the decline of the city of Detroit; so on, so forth. I guess your esteemed English teacher (Mack Brown?) taught you with a dictionary for the demented, and that's why you have interpreted words differently. If Mack Brown thinks of himself as good coach after repeatedly getting his rear end handed to him by mediocre programs despite his collection of "talented recruits", your deviant reading of common English words would be a mild aberration, right? LOL!!!

I apologize for not feeling obliged to respect your "keen reading comprehension skills" trained with the help of some dictionary for the demented. LOL

Well this thread has officially gone over a cliff. From saving Mack's Legacy to the fall of the Roman Empire...Kill this thread now before we move on to Mack is Hitler.

LOL. The British Empire is NOT the same as the Roman Empire. Your dictionary is truly a work of @r** :D

You didn't give the thread much of a hope by suggesting (1) Mack Brown has a "legacy" (2) that's worth saving, and (3) differing opinions must be from the Aggies.

I have a few friends , florida alums, who couldnt wait to run spurrier out of town. Claims and concerns were lack of recruiting effort. Hes a poor recruiter. With his high powered offensive mind, why doesnt he get top notch quarterback recruits. Carolina has been consistent with a great defense, but i havent seen much from the offensive standpoint. In my opinion he should stay in carolina, and continue to be one of the good ol boys having a beer
LOL. The same lame old "recruiting" nonsense. If Spurrier could win big games without big recruits, why would it be a problem? I suppose you would argue that Mack Brown is a "good recruiter"? Where is Texas now compared to South Carolina or Florida?

Why don't you ask your friends to campaign for Mack Brown as their coach and see what they have to say. LOL.

Obviously were all idiots here to you... If you have read in earlier threads or researched a bit more before attacking me, you would have seen that i, just like you, think its macks time to step down. Only difference is i want a hard nosed tough football coach to come in.. Instead of attacking folks, maybe you should take a second, breathe, and listen. Spurrier is not what this program needs , hes too casual in his approach. Im not knocking your opinion, you obviously are quite fond of mr spurrier. In his lengthy tenure at carolina, he still doesnt have that sec title. If we , texas cannot land that big name, we better get a hard nosed fiery tough coach...

The hits just keep coming for Austinlite..He should quit while he is behind..At first I thought he was an Agie..Now I realize he is really Spurrier's grand daughter.

Wait,, I'm not attacking anybody. I'm just laughing at the obviously fallacious argument that recruiting should take precedence over the ability to coach. That said, your friends are idiotic to have said such a thing in light of the pathetic record of Mack Brown.

Ask your friends how the hell did good recruits become good recruits in high school. Is it because coaches in high schools were "good recruiters" or good coaches. If your moronic friends answer "good recruiters" then repeat the question for middle school, elementary school ... kindergarten.

No offense intended, but your friends are morons - this is not an insult because it's actually supported by facts and logic. Would you agree? (since you too want Mack Brown gone)

Spurrier is no perfect coach, but he is a couple of leagues above Mack Brown.

Your right. Morons.. As soon as spurrier left, Gators won several sec championships and national titles... Spurrier was smart, went to a small market school at the time, with small market media. As far as south carolina was concerned steve could walk on water. Spurrier at his age now, and his coaching style could not survive or flourish in a major college media market. He couldnt even manage garcia..

Basically we can all argue, bring up our own opinions, etc, but none of us know or will have any say in who the next coach of texas will be. But i do trust my great university in their next choice.

Bull.

and you don't think that is offensive?
Not in this case, because there is factual support.

It all depends on the underlying reasons for the calling someone a moron.

The SEC is widely regarded as the toughest conference. (I consider the SEC to be a much tougher conference than the Big 12). Before Spurrier, Florida was a joke. After Spurrier took over, Florida started to rout many of its opponents with brilliant passing games.

For your Florida friends to complain about Spurrier's recruiting and suggest someone like Mack Brown, a proven failure at Texas, it's an unmistakable sign of "moronhood".

agreed?

Telling you..Austinlite is Spurrier granddaughter..maybe 12 years old..possibly younger..and not very smart

LOL. You've been beat in argument. Take your punishment and remember you made yourself take it. (and keep your pedophilic yearnings private). :D
