The sweep drops Texas' RPI to #11. They may have lost their chance to host a super regional. 

Big 12 tourney starts this week. A win over Tech and Oklahoma State would likely mean a final against OU. If they can get those first 2 wins maybe they are back in the conversation for a top 8 overall seed.

Rankings and RPI have Texas anywhere between 5-10th. Will be interesting to see how the seeding works out. Of course a top 8 seed is huge to have the opportunity to host a super regional.

It pains me to say but ou is just too good in softball not to win it all again this year. The bright spot for Texas is we have a lot of freshmen playing this year who will be coming back.

I don't follow softball recruiting, but I also heard Texas has a great to elite class coming in next year to add to the returners.

I heard before that Coach White isn't well liked outside of Austin, could the NCAA be making a statement?

Yes, #13 is pure bullsheet. Texas finished ahead of okie lite during the Big XII season, tournament and swept them yet they are the #6 seed overall?
