Big win against a very good team, #3 Ok State. 

This team has definitely come together despite their youth and loss of some key players from last year.

We have proven we can hang with the best of the best, Taking OU to the brink (we held a 2 run lead in the 7th inning) and now beating OK State. Let's take the series and lock up 2nd in conference.

You can't really compare baseball recruiting and roster management to softball. Softball players aren't going straight to the pros out of HS, they aren't choosing Jucos over 4 year schools, they aren't leaving after their junior years. You also have a much smaller roster, position players plus only 4 pitchers.

We have a weekend off and then Baylor to close out the year. Ok state would have to beat OU more times than we beat Baylor to pass us.

All the things you say that effects base ball recruiting did not happen  over nite. Smaller rosters are easier ti fill but does it maker easier to field a better team?

We could go on and on. Bottom line is soft ball coach is doing a better job than base ball's.

Some thing is wrong with the pitching coach in selection of relievers. Look attodaysgame and several others.. Sorry got of topic.

These two losses to Baylor are putting the teams chances of a top 8 overall seed in jeopardy.
