I know that the 1st game of the '15 Football season is just matter of days away..
But, I have been fortunate enough to been able to gather some info and it is nice to purge my thoughts..
The Longhorn Pitchers have begun their Pen work with Skip Johnson, 3 at a time, to get them ready to throw 2-3 innings by the 20th of September.
Also, the Baseball recruiting class that will be signing their LOI this November will be taking their official visit the 26th of September for the Oklahoma State.
That class includes, RHP Mason Thompson and CF Austin Todd(Round Rock High School), SS David Hamilton, CF Conner Capel, LHP Kyle Muller, RHP Kevin Rolliard, SS Austin McNicolas, SS Andres Sosa, RHP Blair Henley, 2B Ryan Reynolds, Catcher Jaxx Groshans, & RHP Tate Sanford.
The conflict for a lot of these players will be that are suppose to be playing in the WWBA South Qualifier that same weekend. The WWBA SQ is one of the larger events in the State of Texas and culminates the year for a lot of these players. Especially for those that are still uncommitted.
Then on Tuesday nights, High School players will be able to work with the Coaching staff out at UFCU Disch Falk Field.
