Biggest first round matchup I can remember in some time.  SLC received first and starts from their own 38

Southlake goes down the field converting multiple 3rd and long penalties and take the lead on a Lil'Jordan Humphrey 1 yard run from the wildcat.  7-0 Southlake.

Cedar Hill quarterback Avery Davis misses a receiver running wide open who would have scored a long touchdown and the Longhorns are forced to punt.  Southlake on the move again.

LJ Humphrey scores on a 1 yard run at the end of the first.  14-0 Dragons.  SLC held the ball all but 3 plays in the quarter.

Avery Davis throws a strike to Charleston Rambo for a 42 yard touchdown as Cedar Hill responds to cut the lead to 14-7 Southlake with 9:16 left in the first half.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey gets wide open down the sideline to score on a 26 yard touchdown pass.  Dragons up 21-7.

2 Play drive for Cedar Hill as Avery Davis finds Charleston Rambo once again.  He's an absolute stud.  Cedar Hill is so junior heavy they are going to be scary once again next year.

I've seen SLC with Lil'Jordan Humphrey in the playoffs 4 times.  Each time he's been the best player on the field.  This kid makes plays

Humphrey has a huge 65 yard reception on the first play of the drive and the Dragons score 2 plays later on a run.  Up 28-14 with 3:47 in half.

Cedar Hill comes out of the half utilizing quick passing and Avery Davis' legs.  Missed snap on XP might come back to haunt them.  Dragons up 35-27 in the 3rd.

After a fumble recovery Cedar Hill scores again but can't convert for 2 after getting called for offensive pass interference.  35-33 Dragons.  2:48 left in the 3rd.  

Also, first round shocker as Trinity goes down to South Grand Prairie.

No offense to Cedar Hill fans, but I was not looking forward to another Katy-Cedar Hill rematch.

Southlake peaking at the right time. As for SGP, look at how their season played out last year. Looks a little like this year. Very strong at the end of the season.
