Not even close. The reality is this is just the same stuff we've seen the last 3 years. Bunting in the 1st inning with your #3 hitter. That's just f'ing stupid. An offense in baseball is giving 27 outs. Why make it easier on a defense to give up one of those 27 while decreasing your run expectancy at the same time? Especially when you have two freshmen playing their 1st game batting 4th and 5th. The game has passed Augie by, and it's sad to see him be better at eating food than coaching baseball.

How can ANYONE make statements about the best college baseball coach of all time? Do you know how to bat better than Babe Ruth as well?

Because he's not the best college baseball coach now, and hasn't been for 3-4 years. Augie is old it happens to everyone. His managing style and offensive philosophy do not work anymore. He no longer recruits. Does any of this sound familiar?

I hate this kind of statement. "How can anyone argue with Augie?" Well, do you agree that people who are drunk should drive as well? Because the same coach that won all those games, did that!
