LeBron Opting Out

Don't think he is going anywhere...

I believe Whisenant is correct in that the coup to get Anthony in Mia is if Wade will agree to a cut...

don't see him doing it....Wade is not a team man.....

All that talent, no one willing to share the ball.......Go Spurs Go...

The way he timed this announcement made it appear as if he was directly responding to Pat Riley's news conference.

They were sending each other messages through the media.

If so, then it can't be favorable to the idea of him remaining in Miami.

Smart move by LBJ.  Prepare teams to draft/acquire players and he'll choose his best option.

I respect that James has the right to opt out, and I respect his game. That being said, even if it may not be the case for him, opting out of his contract to become a free agent doesn't necessarily make him any friends. He's already left one team (which obviously worked out well for his career, not for Cleveland) and since he opted out after losing a championship, it looks like he doesn't have any faith in his teammates. I'm very interested in seeing what his decision is (and I will be forced to because that's all they will be talking about on ESPN until he makes a deal).
