In no particular order:

Nick Saban

Will Muschamp

Charlie Strong

Art Briles

I dont have a problem with any of them. Thoughts from the group on these four only?

Nick Saban ................... pipe dream. It's never going to happen ..... odds 15%

Will Muschamp .............. I thought he left Texas on bad terms? ..... odds 30%

Charlie Strong .............. Guy is a real up an comer ...................... odds 95% Like that chick in Zero Dark Thirty ..some don't like 100%

Art Briles ..................... Too old and don't think he would leave .... odds 17% Like Saban..he may be too old to make a move

these are odds they would take the job, not that UT would recruit them:cool:

Saban may not happen but it's not a pipe dream. their has been ongoing conversations between him and some UT big wigs.

I'm sure Saban will come if the pay check is big enough. The question is whether he's worth it.

It's worth it. National Championship within 2 years. Not to mention what it would do to Aggy and Sooner.

If you can have Saban for 10 million a year, or Spurrier for 3 million a year, who would you hire? (Spurrier is 1-1 vs Saban). I'd pick Spurrier.

My investment philosophy - avoid hot items and the hefty premiums associated with them.

There is a group of say seven coaches who could come here and destroy the entire planet. Im more concerned about the AD hire right now.

Of the 4 on that list, Muschamp and Strong are my favorites and probably the most likely to take the job if offered.

As much as I like Coach Blood, if I had to pick between the two Id want Charlie Strong.

I agree a little bit.

My only question about Strong is, what can he do without Teddy Bridgewater as his QB? Actually, neither Will nor Strong have really proven a lot as a head coach. Muschamps offense sucks ass at UF and Strong and Louisville are in a cupcake conference with a super easy schedule this year.

Facts! If UF weren't in the SEC and UL come out of nowhere to beat them neither would be on the map last year or this. UF isnt a good team, they ride on the image of their conference. That simple. I love muschamps intensity, but his mediocre teams at UF are hard to overlook.

Im not saying its gonna happen but this years Bama aint the Bama of the last few years... Arrests, this DB getting paid this week, thier mediocre play this year... I don't think Saban has any loyalties, he likes to get paid and win. He'll go where he can do both. You heard it here, Bama loses to LSU and we have our first non-SEC title game in the recent past. I think the outcome of Bamas season will have more to do with whether he leaves or not. I don't think saban gives two shits about the kids or the program, hes in it for self.

Mediocre play aside..They beat Agie at College Station. I bet no other team does that this season. Bama just wins. Somethimes they are not pretty, but they win.

No doubt, you're correct. But this isn't the same Bama and they losing Macarron this year... I think if Saban leaves itll be this year, adversity isn't his thing.

Aggie will lose again this year maybe even more than once, their D is not good at all.

UL sucked ass while Steve Kragthorpe ran the place into the ground. Strong took a broken mid major and turned it into a really good football team.

Saban is the #1 guy I know I know, but its foolish to overlook these younger guys for someone who will be retiring in a few years.

Bob Bowlsby hired Harbaugh and Shaw at Stanford. He knows how to evaluate coaches. Hire Bowlsby and let him do his thing.

Isnt there some kind of contractual roadblock to him leaving to a member school AD while under contract?
