Kyle Allen?

When Herman was hired there was a lot of chatter that Allen might follow him to Texas with his two years of eligibility. He has graduated so he could play immediately.  

Was that just wishful thinking or has Kyle Allen considered the move to a Power 5 school? He was a 5 Star QB coming out of high school.

Personally, I'd love to see Allen make the move with Herman. IDK if he's a true "dual-threat", but he's athletic enough to make plays with his feet.

I understand the desire to get a guy like Allen but I feel more than comfortable with Shane starting again this year. Herman works wonders with Quarterbacks.

Where is he practicing as I am sure most of the other Longhorns are already at home ready for the Holidays.

1 QB won't cut it in the Big 12. Not with the amount of passing we've done and do. You've got to have an above average back up and then an average 3rd stringer to make it in this league.

Ehlinger will be your 2nd string QB next year. And he'll probably have to play before the season is done.

He was practicing with a private coach.

Well if Shane's our guy he better put on plenty of muscle. As good as he was this season, his game really suffered when he took big hits.
