[monarch]

welcome to the 40 acres kerwin.

another one in the bucket!

[Aaron Carrara]

It's Texas for Kerwin Roach. Unwraps a blanket from a baby who is wearing UT clothes to announce.

[Chris Flanagan]

Big commitment. Expected but still pretty big.

[Aaron Carrara]

Humble kid with a great head on his shoulders. Grounded family too.

[texasdobbs]

Barnes is on a roll....

Who would you compare Roach to as far as his game goes?

If you follow his dad on Twitter it's very easy to see why Kerwin is a good basketball player and student. Great family from what I've seen.

Who would you compare Roach to as far as his game goes?

He actually reminds me a little bit of Isaiah Taylor, with more of an outside game.

[streettopeschel]

Barnes is on a roll....

no kidding. if you had told me in the spring of 2013 after losing in whatever-the-hell JV tournament we were in we'd be preseason top-10 and recruting like this i'd have thought you were insane.

This.

Smart with the ball. Selfless on the court and has range as a shooter.

[drgilbert]

We have recruited a couple of good players but who will be our center next year? If we lose Cam, and Miles that just leaves us Conner and Ibeh? Right or have I forgotten someone.

Shaquille Cleare also transferred here. I don't think Cam and Myles both leave for the NBA.

[Mike Roach]

Who would you compare Roach to as far as his game goes?

A lot of people compare me to dirk because I'm a slow spot up shooter, but I have some Lebron in me
