Props to the Jayhawks on the pickup.  Tough to imagine him leaving TCU for Lawrence, but he probably got a sweet deal and has autonomy now on the offense (instead of sharing Co-OC responsibilities with Cumbie).  Good offensive mind.

One of my customers is a long time staffer in TCU athletics. He told me this evening that Patterson stripped Meachum of the play calling duties and handed that over to Cumbie after their bowl game. Patterson was unhappy with the play calling over the season. This did not sit well with Meachum, who took less money to do his own thing at KU.
