The former Texas QB has found his new home. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting that at all. I've never heard of AWC before this. I wish him the best. He is a dynamic athlete who can make a big impact some place.

At 6'4, Locksley has a live arm and explosive legs. He is a true dual threat at the position, but it just never worked out for him at Texas. He has an extremely high ceiling, and we hope he reaches his full potential. Junior college has a way of doing that for several players. We wish Kai the best.

Surprising to hear. I thought for sure he would have loved a chance to operate in Herman's offense. Especially seeing what he did with Greg Ward.

I didn't think he would stay at Texas, but I certainly did not see him going the JUCO route. It can often be a humbling experience, though. I'm excited for him

He's pretty much been checked out for awhile. Sometimes kid's just a fresh start. For Kai he is going to have to realize that his future is much brighter at receiver than it is at quarterback. And that comes from a guy who was anxious to see him come to campus as a QB.

Same here, was really looking forward to him developing here as a QB. Too bad things didn't work out, wish him the best of luck. Is there any truth to the Heard moving back to QB? Think our only QBs next year are Buechele, Ehlingher, and Merrick if not mistaken.

Don't think we will know if there is truth to it until the pads come on this spring. He's been seen working on his routes with private trainers.
