Jumping to conclusions

My goodness I believe Coach Charlie Strong will or could get a All Star coaching team together, so he better get with it.

Agree with much of the post. However, when we were in the middle of the 9-yr run, we were, what #1 or #2, putting players in the NFL. Most were 4 or 5 star recruits. We need good recruits/football players, and to coach them up.
We did put a lot of players into the league during the time you mention, and some of them actually did well up there. However, quite a few of them suffered from what I call "Roy Williams syndrome". They spent a year or two in the NFL, based on the fact that they looked like players, but didn't do enough to stay in the league. There are lots of reasons why that happens, but one reason is that they don't go into the NFL prepared with the basics, because they didn't get those basics taught to them at the college level. You'd have to talk to some NFL scouts and insiders, but I know there's been some chatter over the years that UT players are soft and not well-grounded in the basic skills required to make it in the NFL. If that's the case, it's on the coaching staff much more than the players.

I realize that we still do not have a completed staff yet, but so far all I can say and excuse me for saying:
all-star staff my a$$.

If he said in his interview he would assemble an all-star staff here, he either does not know what that looks like or he his a ____.

Color me unimpressed to far, but I will continue to hope and pray for the best.

sorry for the small rant, but I am just so confused that with the resources at his disposal that this is the best he can do,
Wow!! This may be the shortest honeymoon in recorded history. What the hell is wrong with you guys?!!
