Blake looks like he's got all the tools; can both block and catch! Be great for Saban's offense next year.

Well there is no question that the kid can block. I would have liked to have seen him catching more passes, as the video leads me to believe he might be mostly a blocking tight end. It also seemed that after he did catch a pass, he had a hard time keeping his legs underneath him. But as far as the blocking goes, he looked pretty impressive. I liked the third play (I think) in which he pummeled a Defensive End.

Damn he can block, albeit JUCO talent, always hard to figure out the translation into D-1. But, he can catch AND run soooo we do not want.

I know JUCOs are typically more difficult to project, but its interesting that Rivals is calling him a 2*.
