WVU has done a great job of building their baseball program. Oliver Luck went out an grabbed the guy that gave Texas fits...Randy Mazey. Mazey was the one that helped build the TCU program up to what it is today. Mazey was the recruiting coordinator when TCU game into Austin and knocked off a very talented Texas team in 2010.

Once Mazey was hired he then promptly went out an grabbed asst coaches with ties to the State of Texas.

They have done a great job of selling the program to kids from the State of Texas. Almost half of their roster is made up with kids from the State of Texas..

Good points Don.  Although we have only played WVU twice, they caught us in 2013 in a down year in Austin and took 2/3 from us, and last year we visited Morgantown and they took 2/3 early in the season before we had things going good. 

I think some payback is in order.

There are some programs that just have your number, I can't explain it they just do. You know you should beat them but just can't. It's kind of like how Geno Petralli used to own Roget Clemens in the 1980's. I can't explain it, it just is I don't think WVU is there yet.

well done as always. you must've coached little league at some point because you really know your stuff.

i've got too much 'shit happens' in me to predict as many sweeps as you to get to 20-4, but yeah, 17-7 wouldn't suck

and we have our first 'shit happens' game. Guys picked off both 2nd and 3rd. Goofy umpiring. L4 DP to end the game. Sweeps are hard.
