Jitter Fields No.25

Alfred Jitter Fields

Alfred "Jitter" Fields played football at Harold Grady Spruce HS in Dallas, TX and then the University of Texas at Austin. He was selected in the 1984 NFL draft, taken in the 5th round by the New Orleans Saints. He played for the Saints, Indianapolis Colts, and the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL; the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL; the Dallas Texans, Arizona Rattlers, and Detroit Drive of the Arena Football League; and the Oklahoma City Twisters of the Minor Football League.

He served as the Defensive Coordinator of the MFL's Twisters, and then began coaching both Football and Track and Field at a series of Detroit area high schools. He comes to KCU directly from the Stars Football League, where he was a head coach.

Though he considers himself a Texas Longhorn first, he holds an Associate Degree from Pueblo Community College (Colorado), a Bachelors in Social Science and Secondary Education from Colorado State University - Pueblo, and a Masters in Education from Sherwood University. His wife, Malita Lynn, is an attorney for the state of Michigan, and they have one daughter, Maria Liberty Fields.
