Apparently a hamstring injury, according to reports.

Not sure if game time will be missed.

This really sucks. Not just for theHorns, but for his chances to be drafted. With this injury he is officially noted as having hamstring issues ( in the DNA ), which will surely damage his stock....

Chip Brown said "could be up to 3 weeks".

Jeff Howe said that UT hasn't reported on how long he will be out. Based on what Howe said it doesn't look like he will be missing game time.

Personally, I say hold Shipley out for the rest of Fall camp. Not worth the risk. Shipley has nearly a month to recover, make sure that hamstring is 100 percent healthy heading into the UNT game.

Thanks a lot for the jinx Java!!!! Remember this quote from the Preseason NFL Draft Thread???

"I think Ship could go higher if Ash stays healthy, and we have a better offensive line than we have had (3rd).  Remember, he doesn't have the injury history that Jordan had.

Hook 'em!"

I'm sure glad Coach Strong said in his press conference that he expects freshman skill players to be able to contribute. I hope he's back for North Texas.
