Jason from OB

Nice try. You've got Elizabeth Hurley on everyone here. None of us have reached such heights!

I just don't understand why some people can't enjoy and appreciate both OBs and this and other sites simultaneously. Of course there are different perspectives and different angles and different styles of delivering information, but isn't everyone on the same team ultimately? Just seems like there's often such passive-aggressive hostility that doesn't make sense. I really, really want Saban to happen! :)
Drama to be honest. Most of the crowd just wants to point and yell from outside the ring and then claim a victory without ever throwing or taking a punch. It's the good and bad of anonymous message board privileges.

And we know you're closely associated with the special agent, below. She's so bad, I can't even print her name here without censorship. Rhymes with Pussy Galore though.

Just as others have said, Jason is as nice a guy as you'll ever find. I'm lucky to know him personally and he is definitely an asset to OBs.

It's not a matter of different perspectives as much as it is a matter of different agendas. Chip and Ketch have a very strong incentive to maintain the status quo while individials associated with IT and HS have an equally strong incentive to foster change.

If Bellmont wants to try to manage when and how information regarding the new coach will be released, it wouldn't be surprising to see them so to their chosen outlets and request they report what Bellmont wants reported in exchange for access to timely information later. The chosen outlets are selling the timely information given them to subscribers and have a strong incentive to play ball with Bellmont in order to maintain the flow of information people are willing to pay for.

Those not on Bellmont's gravy train have to work to gain information and sell it to readers (via ad sales or subscriptions) based upon its accuracy.

Personally, I question the veracity of what OB is saying if it contradicts what competing sites are saying. People inside Bellmont are worried about their next jobs and will probably be willing to offer info in exchange for assistance in future employment searches.

It's not a metter of perspective, its a matter if agendas. I have no doubt OB would play ball with the new players inside Bellmont even if it meant publishing what they knew not to be true if they thought it would help maintain their being on the gravy train. In this instance, I think OB is more concerned with friendships inside Bellmont more than they care about printing the truth.

After what went down previously, what someone hears is just as likely to be a smokescreen as it is the truth. Bellmont uses the message boards to get their intended message out. To think otherwse is naive.

Doesn't mean someone isn't right on this board but take everything with a grain of salt until the announcement. Less disappointment that way.

Bobby Burton says he was told that we reached out to a potential candidate on Saturday to gauge sincerity of interest. BB thinks it's Fisher or Malzahn. As you can see that differs fom this board. Different message. Maybe a smokescreen, who knows.

Since I have never had a sub with OB, my opinion is influenced by what I hear from those that either were or are now members. On the other hand, Ketch has admitted to creating aliases to manipulate interest and controversy on his blog. The whole purpose being to maintain his membership and/or attract new members.

Would you really pay money to a site that does this - no matter the attraction of some of the membership? Because of this, how could you really trust a poster to being legitimate and not Ketch himself?

Sometimes Bellmont dosent tell them everything
This.

To OB's credit they have shown the ability to move the needle. When they break something it will be on ESPN and it goes national. At that point the cat is out of the bag.
