Tom Herman has an unusual head coaching record. In 2015 the cougars beat #25 Memphis then lost the next week to 5-5 UConn. They then proceeded to beat #16 Navy, #20 Temple, #9 Florida St. They carried the momentum to 2016 by beating #3 OU and later lost to Navy and 2-4 SMU. They beat #3 Louisville and lost to unranked Memphis the next week. Including this years Maryland game, Coach Herman's teams only losses came as the favorite and his teams have never lost a game as the underdog. The pattern continued week one so maybe it will remain intact on week 3. I wouldn't want it to last forever but I'm fine if goes the next 7 weeks.
