IT Reporting Wickline/Watson Co-OC's

No disrespect to IT but they were also still saying Saban an hour after everyone else knew it was Strong. I will wait to hear from Strong.
I hear you. The reality is that a lot of sources left with the old regime. Also, the BMD/MMD's also seem to be out of the loop. That effectively causes sites to scramble for information and try to reach out to folks other than Texas to try and piece stuff together. These sites are dry with "inside" intel.

Maybe you can explain the 5-Star RB, QB, WR & OL recruits who will flip when they find out Watson is the OC? How does Zip sound? That's a pretty low ceiling there in your vantage point, imo.
I can very simply explain the 5-Star recruits that will flip.....ZERO for 2014 (because we don't have ANY) and we could lose 1 for 2015 (because we only have 1), but considering he is an OL and considering we landed the best OL coach in the country, I highly doubt we would lose him. Relax man...not trying to get you stirred up. The point is, we don't know whether or not Watson will be named as a co-OC at this point and everything is speculation from all our available resources as fans. And maybe my ceiling is lower than yours...and that's OK...but I don't think that I am in the wrong if it is lower...but based on the product that has been put on the field since the 09 NC game, my expectations have been drastically reduced with the football product.

Wastson and Wickline together doesn't really make me worry much, I sure they will install the Ok St offense with a lean toward the run, and Watson will call the plays.

I think with Morris, we'd get a few fiveys there partner. If you want to talk about ceilings.

I would agree with you in that thought. The idea of Morris at UT is very exciting, but the reality is we would have to negotiate a huge buyout at this point. They very well could be negotiating a buyout due to the delay in naming an OC, Morris may be leveraging the open HC vacancies available to him to get to UT, we just don't know. One thing that we do know is that it is clearly evident that the "insiders" don't know either. At this point, I have to put my faith in Strong and his ability to put together a staff and I am fairly certain that whatever scenario plays out that we will have our fair chances at the five stars out there.

How did Mack do his first year? I believe he added the Texas city 4. Recruiting this year is on Mack. Next year is on Strong.

The OC hire is a Phantom and a way to get around what is already there... I understand.
