Is Tonight A Home Game?

Given some of the paltry crowds seen at TCU this year, is tonight a home game for the Horns? I think it has to be 50/50 at least, which is a big advantage for us over a more typically hostile road environment.

Not sure. You may have more purple fans show up due to their dislike of UT than for support of their own team.

This is the problem with TCU in the Big 12 imho. Do they *really* have local fans? Their alumni do not congregate in the DFW area and I feel like kids growing up in FW have as much allegiance for TCU sports as Houstonians do for Rice, which is to say none. Am I off the mark?

I think 50/50 may be close. Probably more of a 60/40 which is still pretty sad for a pretty accomplished football program that's been built.

They may not turn out for Kansas but you can bet they'll show up in force for Texas, especially since this is the first time they've hosted Texas in nearly 20 years. There will be plenty of Longhorn fans there as well. I'm betting 75-25.

Who is the "they"? I guess that is my question about TCU fandom generally? Who are they and how many are there? Not intended as an insult but instead an earnest question.

They = TCU students, alums, and fans. There are probably <30K TCU students/alums in the metroplex. I won't hazard a guess on the number of fans.
