Is ND about to be in serious trouble?

Good call posting this stooge. Every university he coached I believe was placed on probation shortly after he left (Minnesota, Arkansas, Notre dame...)
Same could be said for Jackie Sherrill...every place he coached got put on probation after he left...though I'm not sure

about Mississippi State.  Sure enjoyed Texas kicking his ass in the Cotton Bowl at the end of the '98 season!

Was at that game in the mist and foggy weather. Ricky knocked three bulldogs out of that game with his pounding runs. Ricky was a beast!

i hope officials keep digging and the '78 and '71 cotton bowl wins get vacated.

hey, it's never too late.
I was going to post something like that and you beat me to it!  I was there at the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1, 1978 for the 38-10

shellacking by Notre Dame.  It was an incredibly disappointing end to what had been a magnificent season for Texas. Texas

had fought its way to the #1 ranking with tough wins over OU and Arkansas on the road.  Big Earl won the Heisman.  Getting

to play hated Notre Dame for the NC...seemed like a magical season.  Partying on The Drag every Saturday night with the Tower

lit up orange, with the white "No. 1" on it, after the day's victory.  Great times, those were.  So badly ruined in the Cotton

Bowl.  I still think we could have fared much better in that Cotton Bowl had our sterling MLB Lance Taylor not wrecked

his knee against A&M in the last game of 1977.  Notre Dame had success running up the middle all day in that Cotton

Bowl, opening up passing lanes for Joe Montana...not that Montana needed the help, he was a pretty salty QB!

So, without Notre Dame in the picture in 2012, Muschamp would have led the Gators to a Championship Game appearance.  When did the ND employee booster embezzle the money?  Was it more than 10 years ago?  I'm too lazy right now to google it.  Wow!  If the players were kicked out of school, there must be hard evidence.  Notre Dame is developing quite the reputation.

Hook 'em!
