Is Austin a Super Bowl city?

Possible, but unless you own a hotel or other tourist business would you really want it in Austin?

I'm picturing major headaches and limited upside for everyone else.

City must have NFL team

Stadium must be 70,000 or more

January ave temp must be 50 degrees or more or domed/retractable roof stadium present

24,500 motel/hotel rooms within hour of stadium

not only NO, but HELL NO.....let Dallas deal with the headache....and there are not near enough hotels and restaurants and infrastructure to host a SB

We (Las Vegas) hosted the NBA All Star game...and broke the all time arrest record for the city..the nefarious characters that a game like that attracts is not worth the revenue

Well this year's SB is where they don't have good weather and temps are below 50 and no dome.
