This a snip-it from Jeff Howe's QB depth chart write up I found of interest:
Now in those 15 games are some stinkers but 27-10 66%. . . that's pretty good. . .1,600 yards too low. . . .though some of those were partial games. . .
Still, his key is remaining upright. . .
The Lead Dog: David Ash
If Ash is healthy then he's clearly the best option for Texas to win ball games. While he remains an unknown, especially considering 2013 was supposed to be the season where we learned whether or not Ash was a championship quarterback or not, he's shown that he can produce at a championship level. In his last 15 ball games Ash has completed his passes at a 66-percent clip with 1,601 yards and 27 touchdowns against 10 interceptions. Compare that to his first 12 games (56 percent/937 yards/3 TD/8 INT) and he's shown growth and development in his time on the 40 Acres.
