In Regards To Reports On Erick Fowler

Not sure of the whole story but if he made a mistake (not a felony) and wants a second chance, maybe they should give it to him but with the understanding he's out of "second chances".

I'm not sure about yall but I made plenty of mistakes at that age.

I say this without knowing all the details, but of at this point the kid has recognized that he's messed up and is looking for a 2nd chance, why not give it to him? As I understand it, there are no legal issues involved, simply maturity issues. It would be a bad look if they didn't give him a chance, but did give one to Leitao. Again, plenty of details missing in both scenarios, but would be a substantial error on the coaching staff if it's as simple as a maturity issue.

As you say, we don't know all the details. But I really doubt that Herman and his staff made an "impulse" decision. And I also doubt that this would be Fowler's "second chance" as I think he's probably been given numerous chances if this little tidbit that I found on another site is true.

Fowler spent a good portion of spring practice in the doghouse due to, as one team source put, being unable to routinely do things asked of him. It should be noted that Fowler and Southall were two players seen wearing crimson t-shirts with “LOAF MACHINE†written across the front during winter workouts.

NTG, completely agree with you. He's a 5 star kid that has been told and shown that he can do whatever he wants most of his life. No excuses, just saying that some of those guys need for something to actually be taken away from them before they take something serious. Maturity issues. I'm sure this staff isn't going to over react on a talent such as Fowler, but it may be worth to see if he has in fact seen the light and is willing to be all in.

My bad. I thought Fowler was the guy in burnt orange, partially behind Shark. Who is that then?

Fowler appears to be in this pic, if I'm not mistaken.  He is over C Williams Right Shoulder.

Nope, that's Antwuan Davis.

No Fowler to be found.

If Texas is giving Reese a second chance per say, they should give Erick one. Unless of course they already have but that ship may have sailed so.
